MATRIX Offset Script V.0.2 (free) + introductory tutorial

Post by Draise »

Decided to try out my tutorial making talents (not existent) and share this tool I made to facilitate me rigging the stands. The LE can be powerful if you know what you are doing... which I don't, but the tool should be handy. I'll be making more tutorials of things I've developed or created later on. I just need a good computer upgrade so it runs all a lot smoother..

MATRIX Control Script - V.0.2

Here is a long introductory tutorial for my MATRIX Control Script, V.0.1.

Here is a tutorial on how to use it to drive two Axis' with a single driver, used with the MATRIX Control Script, V.0.2.

This is a script in development that accesses your Matrix values, and gives you an offset and scale controls with limits.

This comes in handy when building pistons, cogs, and other lever based rigs. This also facilitates dynamic animation with fewer attributes to key-frame.

This has been demonstrated by Prodigy’s cool piston work, and my other hinge showcase work.

No worries Cellulo.

I updated the script to contain logical workflow panels, and the update rotation display works better (had to use a workaround). All in all, it now works fine.

You can find the new download in the same link above.
