Even spacing of objects.

Post by rjeff »

Ok I have 16 tread I need to place on my half tracks belt. How can I do it easily and evenly spaced. VCRad does not work on oblonged objects.

Why sure ranger, however my solution requires VCRad or some kind of radial progam as such. What I did was count up how many tread went from the top of the gear around to the bottom, in this case it was 6. So I made my tread then told VCRad that I wanted 12 so it would evenly space them on the tread. I then deleted the 6 I did not want. I then copied those and roated it and placed it on the other side of the track. The rest was just space evenly the tread between the ends. May not the most efficient way, but it works. If you can't understan how I explain things, I will post screenies.
