Hi ,i have question for the pc tech men here.
as you can see from the pic my ssd is full, i have not installed any programms on
boot c ,but when i installed vue it in stalls some stuff on boot c .when i need to texture
something in vue it cant find the files i must locate them seperatly but all was installed boot D.
This happens with lot of programms they search for the content in boot c.
i think it would be better to put a 500 gig hard drive in and install the os on that-
that way everything stays together were it belongs when installed .
what do you think any sugestions on this would help.
its F....... anoying

Re: ssd herd drive
You're harddrives looks pretty good there, you got solid room for files on D: and enough room for programs on C:. However, I've also had problems like this before: programs on the C: drive sometimes can't find the files on the D: drive, also, some programs automatically save files on the C: drive, especially older programs.
I don't use Vue myself so I can't really help you there but if I were you, I'd look in the settings and see if you can change the file location where it saves your files.

Re: ssd herd drive
so you're saying it becomes really slow after startup? Maybe you should consider transferring some discspace from one partition to another, unless they are two separate harddrives.

Re: ssd herd drive
in Vue under the preferences and the operation tab (3rd tab)you can set where you put your content file.
The reason to have an ssd is to have faster harddrive operation and that should save you processing time as a normal harddrive
takes a long time and you will want much ram for vue too.
SSd technology isnt up to full potential yet though we are sort of caught between the chairs but it wont take long.....
As far as I know you can also custom install Vue and not install it on C.....
