Lunadude lives on the Wayback Machine!
The web archive still has links to other archived sites like Uvworx etc. I found a plugin for importing Terragen files in to both TS 4 and 5. It's kind of cool that the Wayback Machine still host some TSX plugins. I've been searching for old Caligari resources and am quite pleased with the TWBM archives. When searching for old sites just type in the old web url for what you're looking for and if it's archived then you should be able to access other archived sites as well. Me very happy....

Unfortunately, it's just more or less just an empty shell now bro with very little in terms of active links to anything, however, the archive portion on the Wayback Machine still has a lot of archived resources with links for downloading plugins and other related archived sites.spacekdet wrote:Uhh... Re: Lunadude lives on the Wayback Machine!
I was more or less refering to the TSX Memorial links on Luna's site. Some of these links though are no longer active websites but are still accessible via Wayback in the form of archive pages with some still active download links. I'm aware of what Luna has listed on his site btw. Just though I'd post as FYI for any interested parties looking for hard to find Caligari resources. Some times standard web searches yield very little in terms of old now gone sites. Wayback, is a link to many of those now dead sites. Cheers, Leroy.

The problem is a legal one not a structural one....
We here have more or less all the plugins stored somewhere but we cant make them accessible publically....
Its intelectual property of the makers of those plugs..
Same with the core product Truespce itself.. its now in the hands of Microsoft...

Ahh, now I see why you were excited.BNG wrote: the archive portion on the Wayback Machine still has a lot of archived resources with links for downloading plugins and other related archived sites.
He might take exception to you calling it 'an empty shell'- looks like his work in other areas is ongoing.
And Pete, 'in Microsoft's hands' is being generous... I think it's probably more like ' in Microsofts' back shed, buried under a pile of last summer's lawn chairs'

Re: Lunadude lives on the Wayback Machine!
I see what you all mean, but most of us really have no intention of trying to profit from the existing Caligari resources or the intellectual property of others. To be perfectly honest, I can't even seem to get many people to even try using Caligari modeling software free or not. Microsoft has pretty much deep sixed Caligari and only a handful of people actually still have any interest in using it.
I just see the Wayback Machine as a quite valuable Caligari resource for those few of us that still have any interest in continuing to use it. I also still love using Gamespace and could never imagine removing it from computer. I still have TS 1 and 3.2 even though I never really actually used either. I seriously doubt that Bill Gates is loosing any sleep over existing Caligari resources still available on the web or archived on some servers around the world. Oh, the Wayback Machine has a mirror some where in Eygpt from what I gather. Leroy.
