But maybe because it's on the Forum Requests (barely visited) he didn't was clearly heard.

So I thought we could recover this idea/project, and I think that is just a great idea. I by myself could do a big part of the posts on the wiki, and it could be named 3D Pedia or something like that, the name is the last things we could worry. The pedia would be open to any 3D plataform, but of course would carry more informations about truespace.

So guys what do you think?

Hm... I thought someone around here, started a wiki for trueSpace? That sounds familiar...

Rather than create the wiki for 3d in general, it would probably be better, to focus on a specific application. 3D encompasses a very large set of knowledge.

Hey Clinton I never tried to do a wiki before. So I actually don't know how to create new pages, etc.

I don't really have a handle on wiki editing and I generally just go to any old wiki on the internet and push edit to see how it was done.

You create new pages by placing text inside double square brackets [[like this]]
External links use single square brackets [http://like this.com]

section headings use double equals ==like this==
use * to make bullet lists

That's pretty much the sum total of my wiki editing knowledge.

Now I now the basics of wiki editing, we could discuss here how the wiki could look like.
I would start talking about each side, etc. Then I would talk about each tool, etc.
We could also copy some abstract concepts like DOF, Rendering, Texturing, etc from the normal Wikipedia, then add a section talking about that on trueSpace.

I just want to talk before mix up with your pedia. =)
