I almost died

Post by Steinie »

True,
I thought it was a Kidney Stone, they couldn't find the stone, Urgent Care "Kidney infection" take antibiotics.
Wrong diagnosis.
My Doctor
Two Cat Scans later, 3 spots on both lungs, to the ER pronto, 3 days in Hospital, Blood work, EKGs, testing every 4 hours, Ultra sound of legs, heart, a visit to the Director of Temple Lung rated #1 in the Country. After supposed Kidney infection pain for 8 days I kept saying I feel great. Wrong! Nothing to do with Kidneys,
Blood Clots both lungs, right leg.
Blood Thinner
DNA blood test.
Medicine that cost $600 for 30 days.
If it hadn't been for the pain where I thought it was Kidney Stones and not go to the Doctor...my days with you guys would have ended without fireworks. My next gardening project would be pushing up Daisies.
but
I'm back.
:bananacheers:

p.s. I like what you've done to the place!!!

Happy July 5th buddy!
Glad to read it was caught in time.
Kidney stones... the worst pain. Not being able to breath, that's a trip onto itself. Deep meditation got me to the hospital alive, so I feel ya.

Like I said bud... Happy ... Today!

The proper diagnosis blood clots bottom of both lungs and my right leg. The pain I felt brought me to the Doctor thinking I had a kidney stone. Thankfully it was caught in time. It was a ticking time bomb.
They now have me on blood thinners.

So where did I go yesterday...on a charter boat fishing trip with hooks and filet knives flying everywhere!
Thank you all for the kind thoughts. I am not a ghost yet...

I did think about my finale words while in the hospital and it would have been a joke.
Knock knock.
Who's their?

Glad you are better and over this scary experience. :)
My doctor always reminds me to take baby aspirins everyday, (even though I do not), as they are supposed to thin the blood, and help with BP.
Just curious, did you take any aspirin while you were experiencing the unknown pain?

HEY STEINIE!
Glad to hear you got the proper diagnosis in time, damn that was too close for comfort!

Say... maybe you can help me out with my current 'garden' project: I have a hedge...

8 feet tall
15 feet wide
50 feet long

I gotta get rid of this thing man. Wanna help? It' be fun! I promise! No really! :) Yessir, there's nothin better than getting tangled up in a angry thicket trying to strip your flesh to the bone while you dismantle it. :)

Hi Steinie! Glad you are better now! 2017 was my year of warning for me too!
High blood pressure and they found glaucoma... high eye pressure!
I would have turned blind without treatment!
What you realy need is a change in your consuming habits!
Less Fat.. less sugar.. less calorie bomb drinks....etc
More training...etc.
But I now eat a lot of garlic! That works well against ateriosklerosis!!!!!
Greetings Peter
