physics ???

Post by leevviiJ »

Am i correct in assuming, the i should play the physics sim, with autorecord selected, to get the keyframe data for each physics object, then, delete the physics atrributes of each object, and they will still move via keyframing?

Hi leevij.
I don't think you need to delete the phys attributes before playing the animation. The keyframes are already there once you enable recording to keyframes.

another question on physics

Can the pys sim be started at a time, further into an animation? ie- i have a model walking across the screen, and i want an object to hit its head, i can get the sim to run, objects to fall/hit, but i need the sim to start later so it is timed right with the walking object.

In the Scene Editor, just grab hold of all your physics based object's keyframes and slide the whole lot over to the right to have them start later.

Return to “Animation”
