2010 February Monthly Modeling Challenge "Under - ground"
Lets take Steinie idea of a platform to under the ground to a shape of a cube.

So the main focus is whats inside of that cube and under the surface.
Something like a cross section.
This could be a subway station under the earth or a bunker or a rocket silo or a spacestation under the surface of the moon.
Or just a few ants that live under your lawn.
You can put something on the surface of that cube (top plane)but the objects shouldnt be on the other sides of the cube...
We are interested in what you put into that enviroment not what you put onto it.

Basic Rules:
1) Use your own work. No pre-made purchased or free models, please.
Only exception is trees and plants.
The idea is to show how you are working and what technics you use
2) Start a Work In Progress Thread (WIP) for your submission. There is no limit as to how many separate art work WIPs you desire

to create!
3) Make at least one render of the cube and at least 2 of whats inside that cube. Maximum 5 render per entry.
4) Final image submissions should be no larger than 800 x 600 in dimensions. A link to your WIP is also suggested (even though I'm

sure that most people are viewing them during your creative process)...A WIP is a fun and entertaining place to be !!!
5) You can use any 3d program that you have a license for. Post processing with a Paint Program to enhance lighting or environment

presentation is fine.

Background images are fine but no objects outside the cube except on the top.

Deadline:
This Month's competition will start February 2 nd and will continue until February 22th at midnight GMT
Voting Poll will end on February 28th at Midnight GMT.
Yes this is a short month !

The Winner will be announced March 1st.
The Winner’s art work then gets the privilege of being in the MMC Winner's Gallery and also has the honor of picking a topic and

hosting next month's MMC
If the Winner from the previous Month receives the most votes in this Challenge the second place winner will become the new Host

for next Month.
