picture bathroom

Post by bitkar »

Hey, another project from me. Actually its a entry test for a job Iam trying to get. A company printing on diferent materials for the interior design.

this is for start, couple of hours of work. I will add some details, towels, lights at the mirror and so. Next step is maybe making the gaps more gray. Its not too big and complicated scene. I will have to tweek the lighting a little too, I supose. What do you think?

Hi Bitkar...

Nice modeling and lighting... But looks dangerous to me.. I would round to some degree the
top row of tiles surounding the tub and the exposed corner.. I would also put a mat on the floor beside the
tub... I would divide the thing above the tub into 6 pieces leaving overall size the same... or 3 pieces same
size as mirror... Then I would try to warm it up a bit.. maybe some pooling shaows that cover areas of tiles
that still let underlying shadows show through...

so, this should be final. Maybe I will add some things later, if there will be some spare time. But this should be sufficient. I will make two more vizuals for the potencial new job.

nice work. Here is some idea to enhance the final render:
The motif on the wall ceated by intense light (the sun throught a windows) is not aesthetic, too hard. The render would be better without this detail. you can replace it by a local light with the color of the sun to simulate a light from a transluscent glass.
The brown pipes at the right would be best with a white color.
The towel are too similar.
The mirror would be better if it stopped a tile above. the shelf above the valve would be more visible if it was on the tiles.
And the most important: a woman in the bath!

Good start. The flower vase is too small. should be a vase more design, longer (about 80 cm) and profile, colorless glass. Baseboard would be better with a white color.
