Here is a video site similar to youtube. Some youtubers have moved there, or are also there, due to youtube's censorship etc. There are millions of users and it seems to have an active "community" aspect of commenters, fans, subscribers, followers, etc.

I have found no requirement to use or allow any evil google tool or resources to view videos there. I have not made an account. Have to find out where the videos are stored. They do have evil google analytics and do or will use their ads but you can block those and it works fine (so far).

They are very interested in content creators becoming verified. From that I'm suspicious they might sell/misuse personal info. used to verify a user.

I had a look at it briefly. It looks really promising. I think I will use it in the near future - a long with Youtube. I just need.. to produce enough good content to monetize it all, haha
