I'm part way done with a lathe tool for workspace based on the radial array script. It takes a face selection and separates it out as anew object and applies a radial array to it. The next step extrudes the original face selection based on the object copies.
current problems: doesn't work for 360 degrees, unstable when lathe about the Y axis.
