My namesake - Snapper
So I bought this great character from Renderosity, a big mutant alligator named Hal Patterson. Why Hal Patterson? I have no clue, but this is a model I have trying to find for years! I am not good at modelling organics, and not for lack of trying, but more for lack of practicing, so I have never been able to model my namesake, the mutant alligator named Snapper. He is the main character from my paper based RPG. This model gives me the ability to render and talk about him prior to the accident that will force him to take on a cybernetic body (which I did model once in the past, but have since lost the model). Though not made in TS, I am going to be using TS to make some gear for him, and Studio to generate some small morphs (the crests along his back are not original, I made those in Studio and will make more). Anyway, he is a Work In Progress, so I thought I would post something here.

Those textures are amazing!!!! Glad you decided to model trinkets with TS. I'd love to see your updates.

Re: My namesake - Snapper
Please understand that the model and textures are NOT MINE! They belong to Sixus1 at Renderosity, whom I purchased the model from. I don't have the talent to pull this off. And, yes, the textures are incredibly awesome. I believe they are iRAY optimized. I am only going to be making changes to the mesh (adding my own morph channels) and then making some gear.

Interesting bro. Are you able to load the model into Truespace?

Well, technically I can pose it then export it as a .obj, but I don't know of any way to import the figure, bone structure and all, into TS. It just becomes a static object.BNG wrote:Interesting bro. Are you able to load the model into Truespace?
