Banquet Room - October 2012 Challenge - MY WIP Thread - WIP
Unfortunately trueSpace won't render it anymore in the model-side so from now on I am going to have to use the workspace only for this scene. Here is a workspace render (might be final depending if I get the time to add some more or not).

Looking good mate! Maybe you should start learning how to composite different elements to get better, complicated scenes without a huge rendering overhead! Like render mask layers, then use them to composite your scenes. But the scene looks great!

Que? Haha, I have no idea what you just said. Though personally I prefer modeling in the workspace and not dealing to much with the model-side other than rendering. So I'm not sure if what you said is even possible over the bridge in tS.

hehehehe sorry about my jargon.
I think it can be done on either side. It's like you render only the tables with alpha, then only the walls with alpha, then the cutlery with alpha, then in a 2D program you put them over each other together again. I'm sorta doing some compositing in my WIP, you can find an example there.

Well I get the basic idea however I wouldn't really know where to find it in tS workspace. I've seen the layer settings in the modelside, even used it some time but I never figured out how to switch objects between layers.

I don't know what it is about this pic but... I really like it. Good work.
