modeling of a lion's head.

Post by marcel »

A lot of work but it's nice to do even if this is not my specialty. Starting from nothing and made with trueSpace just for fun.

Excellent in every detail. The meshes are very clean. This should be on a old ornate building with carved parts and statues.

Looking good!

Curious, what are the white lines on the wireframe?

@ Clintonman: white lines are the triangulation model as the video card interprets the volume. These are not construction of the model (quad). These lines appear when you are in opengl mode.

@ Finishes: yes it is an old ornate building.

Here the connection with the wall.

Does a building really need fur?

That's not entirely true.

Here is a little model I made using the hair tool in trueSpace a few years ago:

The results may not be great but it is possible. :)

do ... &mode=view
Made with the model side without plugin.
TS can do fur but the soft can't work with too many polygones.

There is this plugin to make hair in modelside, but it's in alpha stage and sometimes trueSpace crash but it do the job.
