This should be fun...

No real clue where I am goin with this but it will be fun getting there. Thank you for the motivation and the idea to get it started.

So, I realized since they are still working on perfecting Cameras that jusdge distance from a 2d image, he needed a plug-in.

I am thinking about an error checker. The side panel on the cammera with an Lead screen that would say Searching, until it found something.

looking good Karthogen :) i like the bumpmap ridges, works well... and the head box with the wires is also very good :)

there are many things a little critter like this can do... add some modular extensions and he can do any kind of modeling tools, welding, booleans, rendering... etc

Thank you... I have been working on my normal maps, very hard to keep them clean. they want to add to much detail sometimes

Not sure If I am doing image or Animation yet. Thought I would see what he moves like to hopefully get some ideas.

I was going to start the finished entry thread tomorrow, I didn't realise I'd messed up with the dates when I extended it
the finished entries thread usually gives people time to enter, but if your struggling with time let me know and I'll juggle the dates a bit
With us trying to get the contests working again I think everyone is willing to cut some slack,and I hope Mr 3D and Theuns would rather it being more than a two horse race

I am going to dedicate as much time as I can this week to reach the deadline.

I will submitt what I have at that time, may not be completely where, I want it to be but when is anything ever perfect.

Not moving as fast as I thought but it should start going faster.

looking good Karthogen, how did you do the couch? it looks very nice...

Not really sure how to explain it, just started with a cube added some geometry that would let me Sweep faces the arm on one side and back, then used sweep to get the back higher. cut it in half and mirrored, and flattened. Two cubes with SDS for seat cussions, and 3 cubes with Some pulled vetices and sds for the back cushions.

Ill post the wire frame and tonight for some critique since there is probably a more efficient way to accomplish it.

This is my last test render.

I need more stuff but I am running out of time to add it in. WE are planing on going camping Friday and Saturday night, so I will only have Sunday, then submitting.

Guess I should add the details... since it's a little different than most.

I am hoping for enough time to add base boards and crown molding. Maybe the PC under the desk and some papers, boxes on the shelves of the desk. but, it is all going to depend on how Sunday goes.
