Baby Hulk was made in DAZ Studio 4 and TS 7.6 model side. Clintonman's obj importer/exporter was a big help too.
I played with the controls in DAZ to turn the base character into this. That appears to be what DAZ is for. The tools for expressions and posing are great. I wonder if you can import a character you modeled in something else and use them on it. I noticed that the DAZ renderer is 3Delight! How does 3Delight expect to sell for that big price when it is free or cheap everywhere?
One DAZ problem was that I could not delete part of the model. The corneas (their models are very detailed) interfered with texturing his eyes in TS. So, I imported the obj with groups and deleted them in TS, saved it, and reimported it without groups. Now I see that once in TS I should have saved as cob and Mesh Collapse would have unified it.
Baby Hulk, Hear-O, and Block Man are more comic book characters than cartoon characters but the voters will decide if that is important.
I might not submit this as a contest entry since it is mostly the product of a tool. Voters seeing it in the challenge might think it was made from scratch and I don't think that is fair to those who are making great characters from scratch. What do you think?
DarkScythe: Needs an official ruling. Is this suitable for a contest entry?

Re: Finis - Cartoon Character Challenge Baby Hulk
Thanks Pugman. I'll see if I can invent another one for the ____ Four. What to call them? I think I will not enter Baby Hulk in the Challenge since I didn't really model anything but the walls and ground. I'd use characters from Daz if I modeled an elaborate costume or animation was the theme but not for this contest. Block Man just used the character as a start.

Thanks Clintonman. Sorry Froo. Didn't consider the last name on the importer/exporter credit. Thanks Froo for the obj plugin.clintonman wrote:Actually, the obj importer exporter was made by Froo.
