The reflection on the glass seems pixelated, so how could I solve that?

PPS or PSS?: I'm making available the model to you guys search and see what you can do. The zip contains all textures (in the archive mode). But just for one day, then I'll delete it from here.

Could it be because of low resolution shadow maps? Try using raytraced shadows and see if there´s a change. Actually the bar next to the dark jagged stripe is lit well, so to me it looks more like a shadow than a reflection.

Which bar? I'm pretty sure it's a reflection problem since the light comes from inside the lamp, so anything on the lamp is a reflection and not a shadow.

I think the problem is that your 2 egg shaped objects are too close. If you make the larger one bigger or the small one smaller you don't get the strange shadow.
