Suggested by Emmanuel, the viewLib collects unsaved scene settings.
Alphanumeric textboxes are far long more easy to code than checkboxes and can be left blank. The format of the "date" label is OS sensitive. Months would be shown before the day for that countries which use such a convention.

Adopted !
I just saved the view settings in my current projet (a typical archtecture project with top/side/perspective views). With your plugin, I am not afraid of closing the view window and loosing its size in case I need to work on the same scene some weeks later. By the way, I think the "Note" field could be a bit larger (3 lines tall for example) to store more information about the scene, or instructions about post-render steps for example.

Before, I was using the configuration library to save view windows of a particular project. But this library does not have room to add comments about the scene (like render resolutions, etc...) ; so sometimes I have been using an "info" object (yes, a text object), with a note associated to it.
I think this Note tool is a great feature and an underrated tool of tS6.6/Modeler.

Perhaps, I will code a plugin one day to improve that feature ; the idea will be to extend the note tool to the entire scene (automatic creation of an invisible object with a note associated to it, so we can save informations about the scene within the scn file)...

Thanks again for the ViewLib tool Fenerit :)

The settings for the "render on file" weren't taken into account for the viewLib because they are renderings and not sizes, as was claim back; if we are taking into account even the renderings ,we will arrive at the post-process and third party shaders which dialogboxes doesn't saves nothing. Background and environment map are parts of the size, as long as they are static and not procedural generates as conseguences of render's resolutions unrelated with the WYSIWYG. Thus, what post-process, what render engine? Surely the tS's notebook is useful as long as an persistent object sum up the scene; but this isn't suited for empty workplaces. Cookie programs like the viewLib needs to be set from start for doing that and stop. Suggestions are welcome to make just the necessary. Its not diffucult to add either:
DirectX and OpenGL what are? frameworks, softwares' renderers, device drivers? 3D engine? They are softwares and not hardwares; Dribble, Lightworks, V-Ray: what are? render engines: ok, on what? DirectX, OpenGl?
Aside the jokes, I need an help from you, my friends, to set up the interfaces of such naives libraries; If you can sketch what is either lacking or required, I can set it in the best way possible.
Notepads beyond the 1024 chars allowed by the 6.6 tS's notepad (if I'm not wrong), are easy to do and requires controls which are now embedded in Xp 32; while doesn't seem so for Xp 64. There is the risk that such libraries will not works unless certain DLL's are installed. Remember that on 64 you can do run even VB 1.0 programs with the due DLL (vbrun100.dll).
What do you maintain as more suited: an enhanced notepad standalone, with its button, or a notepad embedded into the viewLib?
For a complete scene manager: is the project of DesignDevil aborted? Notice that I'm put EXEs; thus the call is... what is it?

a TSx button meanwhile load a scene can write on append the field "new" of the viewLib. Its limit is the 65k of the viewLib's DAT and its slowness in loading huge data's lengths. the string can be changed by the viewLib itself. tSx can write scenes' sequences in append mode (as it do by itself). Otherwise it can write new and the viewLib opens them one by one. Are just options.

...The second is my favorite ones; like I said so far: in the first either tS crash or doesn't save scenes when something is full.

Hi Emmanuel, this version (1.1) saves files one by ones. Its a prototype; before extract the pack backup the previous "viewLib.exe" and "viewLib.ini". Once extracted, open the new "viewLib.ini" and add to the [EXTIMAGE] header the path to the your favorite image manager. Then do click on "image manager"'s button (as it is recognizable in the screeenshot). You can load in it the original DAT library. Notes allows 65K chars; should be enough for scenes. Audio manager I think is useful too.

The viewLib has been updated to the version 1.2. See the first post.
- Finished routines respect to the buggy "prototype", which has been removed.

Thanks for the new version Fenerit !

I'm back into 3D after 15 days of a roughs/photography/photoshop work at Paris for Renault (the car manufacturer) - I will post some infos about this job after magazine release ; although this is not 3D, some of you may find it interesting :)
