It is not easy to vote because you can prefer an image for his idea and prefer an other for his quality. What i would like (if it is possible) is 3 column for each candidat:

.................... Idea ........ Model ......... Render
candidate1 ........X..............X
Candidate2 ...........................................X
Candidate3
...
you could vote for each column.
A candidat could have 0, 1, 2 or 3 per voting. the result would be more fairer.

That's the way it should be, but isn't viable and vote numbers are small imagine if they need to do more things and it would confuse new members.

But the idea still good!

I am sure than all voters are the same: those who use really the forum. They will not confuse to vote in each column. It is very simple even for news users. Only a stupid man can find that confuse and there is no stupid man here.
If i need to choose between a good idea and a good render, it is possible i prefer not to vote. With 3 columns the choose is easier and maybe you will see more voters.

No. Only one poll with 3 columns and the result is the addition of the whole. 3 polls would be too complex. If it is not possible to do 3 columns we don't need to change anything. It is what i would like to know.

Your idea would help to recognize participant's who excel in some particular skill. Someone with outstanding artistic ability could be happy to win "best image" even if he didn't win the contest. It also would help with getting voters to consider factors other than the final image which I think is all most voters consider. However, I think the more complex voting would decrease voting other than by the challenge participants. Those seem to be few though.

For the existing single vote system it might be good for the MMC to emphasize in the vote poll threads that voters are to consider the whole process.

The Poll Marcel mentions is not possible here. We can only allow three votes but not create three columns.
