I have a number of MLB files that I have used in the earlier version of Truespace. Can I use these in 7.61 or is there a way to convert these over? I didn't see anything in the manual or on the forum.

Hi Myeakey....

Material Library Files contain TrueSpace Material Editer settings per material.. If a Map was used.. Material,Bump or
Transperencey etc.. The MLB points to the location of the actual image on your computer... If these Images still
reside in the same location on your computer no problem..
In model Side of TrueSpace 7.6 open Material Library.. At the top of the Library box click on little Folder icon
This brings up The Material Library Brouser... Click on search.. Navigate to the location on your computer whare
the Old MLB file resides.. Choosr it click OK.. It will show up in the Material Browser List from that point on and you can
choose it when ever you like.
If the Maps.. Texture,Bump,Transperencey etc... reside in a different location on your computer than they did when
the MLB was created... A pop up box will pop up and tell you it can not find textures... It will ask you if you would like
to find them.. Click OK or Yes.. I dont remember.. Then navigate to whare the textures are now click on the texture the
MLB is looking for and click OK.. You will then get a pop up box asking you if you would like to add this location to the
texture path.. Click OK..
And You'r all set...
