I would KILL for a "relax" mesh or "smooth" mesh operator... I hate having to have to export, relax or smooth in another software, then re-import top continue modeling.
I am sure the algorithm and function wouldn't be too hard!
How would one start to do that? How does one get point data, then the neighboring point data and create interations to move the points on the average point position? (smooth) Could this be done in the LE? Also, how could I do this without affecting the normal Z axis of the point (relax)?

this can be done through script, topology & vertex & triangle data are accessible there... Nice smoothing algorithm is bi-laplacian.
Nobody will hear you scream in Hilbert Space.

Thanks for this. I'll try learn how I can get into access into the topology, vertex and triangle data. Do you know how?

Wow. Im honoured to meet you Tomas! I love the work you have done and the tools you created for the ws. They are great!trueBlue wrote:Tomas meet Draise. A very cool artist that loves all your hard work and awesome Workspace tools.

Hello Tomas!
Im very thankful for the work you did on the ws. I still see potential in it even after all these years. If i had the means id invest in further development or a new software like TS! Ive got a couple of dollars in my paypal to start with
Concerning the documents, i found them online earlier....but i am not sure how to program or apply such equations.... i guess im more artist over a techie..
