handrail profile
I would like to draw one side of the profile of a handrail and then mirror it to create the profile to be swept. I have tried this with the nurbs tools but cannot get my half profile to mirror. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks!

I have figured this out. Make the half profile a closed polygon ,extrude, select the face between the halves and mirror. If anyone can mention mistakes in my method please do!
