I know this might be a silly question to ask, but is there a setting in tS7.6 to change the background and/or text colors? I find that there isn't enough contrast between the grey background and the white text for my poor ol' eyes.

In the User Control Panel under Board Preferences try "AeroBlue.

I was referring to trueSpace, not the forum pages.

I've found where I can change the ground colors (under setting/ground), but little else.

I'd like to know how to change the TS user interface colors too.

Don't think that was ever implemented. If you go spelunking in the LE you can edit the UI panels to give them different colors and fonts and stuff.
