Here is my first render on this new site, its of a building that is being built at the moment
( i guess the owners are lottery winners? ) hope ya like it.
MANXIE it looks amazing, it's a beautiful house I think will look better when ready, I really like if I could live in that house
Great work! Keep the good work

Nice to see you back Manxie and your work is still
top notch.
Maybe the new owners of this house can
support us!
Welcome Manxie. Nice render for an architectural project. I like the reflexion on the windows which contrasts with the graphic aspects of the walls. It would be interesting to show how you do the render.
Thanks steinie its nice to get a chance to join in, it would be nice if the new owners supported me before anyone else Hi Marcel to get the reflections on the windows I used a flat plane with a photo of the view from my back window as a texture map, then I rotated it to reflect against the glass surface of the windows, you could use the hdri in truespace but I like to be able to move the flat plane up or down to show either more cloud or more trees/grass depending on the angle of the camera.. Also Marcel I would just like to say that your 3D work is fantastic, really spot on..
Interesting technical Manxie, looks like a good way to do a window, we can see it in the results

Thanks leonregis, hope this screensave shows it a bit better, the bottom right section shows the two flat planes casting the reflections, Also you have to turn of shadow casting from the flat plane before you use it.....

Great work. I am partial to architectural scenes..
hmm I see that you use a lot of labor in it! How many time you use on it... I would use 1 to 2 weeks and even can't reach that result

"you have to turn of shadow casting from the flat plane before you use it..."
...and flat plane is better with a constant shader. i do that for many of my work. It is the best way to control the render as you want. Hdri reflection is good for round object, not plane object because we can see big pixels on the windows if the size of the hdri is not very big. Nice wireframe. If you like my work and architectur, i posted today a new thread to show recent work of my project and it is building. vi ... f=28&t=684
I hope my centibots does not meet your house .
I am quite quick with buildings now and can usually do a finished building in a day, thats modelled and textured
and to be honest I still find it quicker to hand scale from a blueprint than use any type of dxf / autocad file as a template.
Marcel the explosion effects on your buildings are on a par with stargate atlantis, how do you get the geometry to explode/
seperate in your animation???

all objects move on a virtual sphere then there is a post process for the fire. but it is your thread and i show that later on my wip.
