SMC #60: On My Desk.
This Challenge is to model an object normally found on a desk. This should offer a great deal of choice to contestants examples being a phone, stationary equipment, executive toy, lamp, laptop, action figure or maybe even a cup of coffee and a sticky bun. That all said, it doesn't have to be your desk, it could be the desk of someone famous or the desk from a particular movie/TV series. Captain Picard's, Philip Marlowe's or Gil Grisham's being good examples. The only real limit is your imagination.
The Rules:
1) You can use any 3D software you want.
2) Model(s) must be created within a 4 hour time limit.
3) Rendering, Lighting, and Texturing are not included within the 4 hour time limit.
4) You may enter as many times as you wish.
5) Each entry is restricted to 1 beauty render at 800 x 600 pixels.
6) Each entry must be clearly named for voting purposes.
7) Each entry is also to include a wireframe screen grab (before subdivision if used).
8) Each entry must include the time spent, software and render engine used.
Entry Deadline: Midnight (your local time) on Sunday 13th March 2011.
Voting: To commence mid-day on Monday 14th March 2011 and run for 7 days.
Please Note: This thread is reserved for entries only and a separate thread will be created for members comments.
Good luck all.
