Need some help, if possible. I have attempted to map the numpad keys to various views. I have set them up on the model side and they are working.
In the workspace I used the Ctrl + Right click on the icons and set the same numpad keys to the same views. However, the workspace ones do not work.
When I attempt to assign another key for the view it shows the numpad selection so it appears to being saved - just doesn't work.
I will appreciate anyone pointing out what step I am missing.

Oddly enough, you can't use the same hotkeys for both Model and Workspace.
You can set it up so that you use a combination (say '4' in Model and 'control 4' in Workspace)
keypress in one side or the other.

Use the 'combo key' on your least used side- ie if you use Workspace side more often, set that up with the faster, simpler set of hotkeys.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I took a different route. I am using the default hot keys on Workspace ([Ctr] + keys 1 - 8) rather than assigning the functions to the numpad keys. I was also able to assign the same key combinations to the Model side. So, the same key combinations work in both now - although not as user friendly and visually intuitive as the numpad configuration.
