Hi.
How do Irender a still image to file of 4000x3000 pixels with the free TS7.61?

click on render scene to file and set the res of your render..
I suggest to read the manual from the beginning.. trust me, the manual is great, take a time to read it all and you will understand truespace very quickly..

Maybe my question should have been where do I get an offline render engine for the TS7.61?

If you have ts761 with model side, that came with lightworks.. if not, there's a few render engines for workspace. Indigo and yafaray for example.
search on the render section for more details. i'll try to find a few links if you don't find the right ones.
