Korg Volca rack

Post by splinters »

My latest project is to get a full range of Korg Volca sound modules and make a rack to hold them all. I produced a template to cut out using the schools laser cutter and here is a render of what it all should look like.

I love this and the render is great!!!!!!! Though.. The scale is a bit. . Hard to get. Is it easy to reach the top back part? Is really nice. Do show the real thing once done!

Hmmmm, I had 'use environment light only' ticked....
I'd better try again. Draise, its quite small...I will look at the scale as its only about 450mm tall/deep.

Fine looking design. Both stylish and practical. The idea could be adapted to many uses.

Pencil should give a better sense of scale.

Pencil is a nice touch. When I first saw it without the pencil I thought ," How on earth can you reach that far!" :)

All done, opted for a four unit rack and sprayed it black as the edges were black from the laser cutter. I'm very happy with it and everything fits like a glove.
