So, you're suggesting I remove the ResetSDS button's Default trueSpace TagAlias?

None of the Reset SDS attributes have a Default
You can test this by RClick - Reset in the Stack

The reason for using the Reset SDS panel to Reset SDS is to give a choice before blindly resetting whatever state the panel attributes are in
Maybe you may not want to reset one or the other or both
There is several ways that resetting SDS works
PE Selection(s)
SDS Object selection

Yes, or change it to polyh# instead of sds

If you never use the panel it has everything checked. They don't have rclick reset, but they are checked. The only time something isn't checked is if you go to the panel and uncheck it. 99% of the time you don't need the panel so 99% of the time opening the panel is making it a 2 step process. The button already has RMB to open the panel and when in point edit mode the same panel is also available via Mesh Editor Settings ResetSDS aspect.
