I have a monitor running at 2560x1440
When switching to modelspace in tS7.61 I get an error:
To make it work I reduced the size of the trueSpace window. But it always opens with the ugly "RGB Emulation" setting when switching over from workspace. So I change it to "Direct 3D HAL" to make it look good again. Windows remembers the size the next time you startup trueSpace and you can switch between full screen and the smaller modelspace compatible size using the normal windows controls.
The size can also be set by using a program called Sizer.

I use version 4.0
hot key is "ctrl + win + z" to open a menu and I choose the "YouTube 1080p" option
Larger window sizes will also work. I just don't know what the max sizes are that work with the model space d3d display mode.

Re: tS7.61 Modelspace D3D Fails on High Resolution
Thanks for the trick.
It is better to run trueSpace on a dual monitor configuration rather than using a large single monitor. A couple of 1920 x 1200 monitor is fine and compatible with D3D display.

i have this too... tS remebers resolution but does not remember the D3D settings, always starts on RGB emulation. :-/

Re: tS7.61 Modelspace D3D Fails on High Resolution
OpenGL supports high resolution but I notice it generates some artefacts when moving objects like on the capture below. It looks like refresh rate is too slow. Do all of you experience the same echoes when moving objects around in Modeler window OpenGL mode ?
I wonder if some graphic cards are spared from this ?

Artifacts, slow Render in LW and Vray big time!

Re: tS7.61 Modelspace D3D Fails on High Resolution
Thanks for the feedback TB. What is your graphic card ?
Here with a Radeon RX550 I get a quite decent OpenGL display. No out of memory issues in scenes with many texture files.
Only these echoes when moving objects are annoying...and Vray extremely slow of course, but I only render using a pure wireframe display window because it is faster.
Anyone else ?
