The forums were not working this morning.
"You are running an unsupported PHP version. Please upgrade to PHP 5.4.0 or higher before trying to install or update to phpBB 3.2"

I looked around and found that united3dartists.com was set to php version 5.3
fiddled around changing the version to 5.4 and 5.6 gave different error:

"General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]
mysqli_connect function does not exist, is mysqli extension installed? []"

Finally set it to inherit the default php version and that seems to have worked.

Just noting it here for future reference.
