Hey Cellulo...Thanks for the updates!...What incredible sourcing!

Well I got another here which is a keeper...AXS TRACKER...

Most STABLE of anything I have ever used, Easy, Simple, Looks good, Sounds good...Never crashed yet after using for months!

Works on XP (test extensive) and works on Windows 10 (not near as much testing)...

Best to watch GIF-

It can be had directly here-

I got a whole thread nearly 3,000 view running into 3 pages here-

https://warmplace.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6350

I have tutorial GIFs, Skins, Song Starters even AXS fan GIFs-Art-

Finished a tune recently, this is how it sounds raw I just added a short fade-out & converted to MP3-

Here's one unfinished just was example to friend on doubling BPM for better pattern resolution-

Here's a strange 'Funk Jingle' I did only 30 seconds but great for short attention spans-

This old 22 year-old Tracker more stable than modern DAWs go figure!!

Thanks Garcia & Thanks Cellulo...

Yes, AXS pretty amazing for it's age & size...BTW ELSEWHERE I had a snowflake be offended because i had the word 'ignorant' in the GIF, this just means 'lacking knowledge' & in a GIF especially not targeted at anyone is 'artistic expression'. I am ignorant of many aspects of trueSpace, Someone who does not even know what it is REALLY is. Like they say the world is fulla people just waiting to be offended by something...

OK was lazy today so checked out SawCutter 1.0 which is another incredible piece of code from 2001. This version one was freeware, version 2 was commercial...

I am now planning on using this as a 'sidekick' to AXS Tracker. You can use up to 8 internal waveforms & draw them yourself & all kinda glory but each slot can also be imported a WAV file. Then you can make chords, notes that slide, CHORDS that slide & all kinda FX. Nice thing is that all the samples I use with AXS can also be used in SawCutter which like AXS is also amazingly small at 248 KB!! Great for making chords & 'weird sounds I also plan on perhaps making solo segments in it for AXS for some parts...

Very incredible you can waste alot of time playing with it...

Once you are happy then you record your 'session' then STOP then export the WAV...You gotta clean up the export in audio editor easy enough I mostly use Wavosaur as I don't care for Audacity...

Be sure to RESET the audio out to 44 KHZ as it defaults to the 22 KHZ on every start...

This came out in 2001 same year AXS was made free man what a great year that was many cool things then...

DIRECT DL Link HERE-

https://web.archive.org/web/20060517174 ... Cutter.zip

There is no manual but there is a fAQ page that covers most-

https://web.archive.org/web/20020817234 ... er/faq.htm

This page has more song files for 1.0 at bottom-

https://web.archive.org/web/20020810171 ... wfiles.htm

None are that great...Version 1.0 you could make a short jingle, version 2 full-out tune...

On that forum you share, I found:
https://web.archive.org/web/20100304180 ... _intro.asp
key: 7942985542792366

sawcutter2:
https://web.archive.org/web/20070729201 ... ter2.0.zip
key: Orphan 201070401030000010 (https://youtu.be/cheNBDpRPWk?t=123)

Not sure how useful they are, but they're abandoned... and we're keeping it alive! :bananacool2:

Re: 'ignorant', don't take that stuff personally, the internet socialist*, project their horrible negativity (critical consciousness) crap... you used the word correctly... and, yes I was ignorant to AXS before your post.

*I call people that use social media, socialist... users that have been TOS "social" engineered and gamified narcissism of the internet

Thanks Garcia...Yeah I already had both those great sourcing though...

I pretty much just post freeware on here that way I'm rather safe...

Aero Studio pretty good like it way better than Buzz plus it has piano plus tracker... The included internal Synths & FX sound quite good but they don't make sound until you start moving sliders as they all come 'zeroed out'. Automation is drawn which is nice...

Here's tune I did in it WOW it's been 8 years ago now WTH time is goin' by fast....

:bananalove: :D

I was looking at http://www.flat2d.com/programs.html and it kept say saying coming soon??
I had to ctrl-f5 to load a none cached version!
Thank you! very coool :worship:
Wow 355MB :o

Krowbarh, dude! that track has a fresh 90's funky vibe :bananacool2:
Very impressive!

10 years ago, I would have tried finding the dev's and get a confirmation lol
Using abandonware software is usually a lot harder because there's no community, help, lacking documentation, tutorials etc

Hey garcia... Thanks for the kind comment on the tune I did not see that before...

Just uploaded last nite another tune done in AXS... It's straight-up jazz tune-

https://alonetone.com/TalkOrBell/tracks/axs-jazzmonger

I don't use soundcloud anymore & probably will vacate all tracks on there as they are getting too invasive & I can't even upload as I have to go through 'receiving an email for security reasons' what to upload a music track?...alotta BS that is...

You all have a good one...
