While creating my most recent character a rat I saw the need for fur.
While there is a tool for creating hair in Poser and one for TS neither of these can simulate the soft fur that was needed.
The other thing is that when you add hair to a object the render time now increases and the object file size gets larger.
So I came up with a work around for creating fur/hair that is very simple and does not increase the model file size greatly and keeps the render time down.
What I did was to create several small cubes and then create a color map and a trans map for them that looks like fur.
The blocks are then placed in random areas to give the fuzzy look.
Here is a finished character with the fur and the trans map and color map.
Give it a try.

Re: The Need for Fur
I noticed a lot of people have download the two texture maps.
I would like to see some of you work using this or hear what your thoughts are on this.
