Well at long last I'm back to pushing polygons around!
I cant believe that it's been over a year and a half since my last finished project!!! http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/s ... ight=troll
My how time flies when your being lazy. It's been so long that I'm actually struggling to remember where all the icons are in TS
Anyway... here's what I'm now working on. I cant take full credit for the modelling so far as the main body started life as the
Daz 'Galapagos Tortoise' (http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/gala ... =4587&_m=d) but I have had to do
a lot of surgery on the little fellow to make him look like the European tortoise which fits my needs.
I wonder where this one will go???
Any comments and crits are always very welcome.
P.S. Does anyone here still remember me

Very nice model! I like the bump map. Maybe other bump map on the head and the arms? The wheels are very funny and contrasts with the realism of the whole. This project could become surreal.
I am waiting to see the texture. I am sure they will be good.

With a mouse holding a whip on the back of the turtle, it looks like a carriage of Ancient Egypt.

Put a mulching blade on there and we might have something.
Look out, Robomow, you've got competition with character!

I like the wheels - they make me think of a Traction Engine! kind of appropriate....
Looking forward to your usual excellent work (and some cool textures) - is it going to be gory?
