Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
That looks cool Rayman.
Mixamo mocaps often have "teenagerism" but they are free and numerous.
Collada, I'll try that if I try mixamo with Blender.
Plant Studio is free too?

Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
Thank you ! Yes ! Plant factory full edition is free too plus the full Plantcatalog !
For Blender its better to use FBX binary and the Mixamo plugin ! you can make a Blender rig or a riggify rig with just a press of a button !
go to youtube and search mixamo blender and riggify !

Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
here is a quick walkcycle repeated 5x ! Mixamo character to vue via Collada ! Binary Fx doesnt work for some reason or I havent
figured it out yet... but like I said I am in the testing of the ntransfers etc ! Looking into FBX 6 to Vue now !

Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
So here is the next step... a Zygote from Silo very low poly which is in A pose was brought to Blender to add a Riggify
Metarig the non detailed second one without the headbones to rig the mesh to T pose then exported to Mixamo to add the Mixamo
rig and add a catwalk animation then exported via Collada to Vue Stream 2024 ! I added a world coordinate glossy texture to show the smoothness of the low poly mesh plus to avoif being blocked because of nudity and to show what could be done to the mesh with
normal maps ! added a musik from Pixabay just for the finshing ! Next step will be camera animation to zoom in on the face in Frontal... thats why the head is cut off on it now in frontal !

Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
So here some more update one is a Mixamo Character rigged and with dance movement from Mixamo exported as Collada and the
old Froggy animation from TS (animation presets TS7)transfered to Vue via Collada ! I"m a wee bit stuned that Blender wants to drop Collada in the next versions....
now after making it Legacy with 4.3 LTS......! Well thats how we get old ( rant of an old fart... !)...around the corner.... Collada was the next best great thing......and now....glt humptydumpty....! :p

Re: Truespace to Mixamo to Vue animations
Here is the Tankgirlanimation from the Default TS 7 install exported as a Collada ! Including physics from TS...! Although TS
is quited dated it holds up quite nicely ! The part that is dated is the Material and display and render part..(minus Vray or Dribble)
part so this is a quite good extention... and hey...now its totaly free so no catch !
