trueSpace 6.6 service packs

I believe I am all set now ...thanks to those who replied.



I would think we long time users could maybe pool our resources together for this now still very usable and relevant "obsolete" program.

It still kind of stings that truespace is no more, but maybe as a group we could share updates and older paks or cool powers. Nothing that is still being sold would be included...only stuff that is no longer offered.

I would think there could be a way to do this so it only benefits individuals who have actually paid for truespace at some point.

Just an idea.

I guess that is what it would amount to.

I'm not sure if other things like the paks, ispace, cool powers, shaderlab, tsflash, conv paks, etc....would be included...but why not.

I kind of liken it the training courses. I paid for quite a few of those...and now you can just download them from a link here for free.

The only difference would be to somehow limit it to those of us who actually have paid for a version of truespace in the past....not sure how to monitor this part of it though.

I have been a trueSpace registered user since version 1, so I have a good collection of the updates posted among the years.

Considering the legal take on "Abandonware" copyright, I don't see any problem on hosting it on a server somewhere!

I agree about sharing the old resources. Since there are only about 20 of us that still use truespace. What could it hurt?

I've been looking for Truespace 6.6 (or Truespace 6.5 + update to 6.6) together with 6.6 Conversion 2 pack all around the net, failed to find.

If anyone here has it already, could you share please?

Basically looking for:
6.5 download
6.6 Service Pack
6.6 Conversion
6.6 SP2
6.6 Conversion 2

Conversion pack 2 is for 6.5. Conversion pack 2.1 for 6.6.

i got some convpack 2.1 here

The install for that one says it's for 6.5 and 7. I poked around my storage and found this one which during install says it's for 6.6 and 7

Unzipped size is 22,120 KB vs 14,722 KB
