Hello,
As the subject states, I'm picking up TS3D. I've checked it out a number of times over the years, but never stuck with it. I knew it was discontinued and became free, but I didn't know that development had actually continued on it.
I looked in this thread here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4328 ... and noticed there's several versions to choose from.
So, this leaves me wondering which version should I download? Is the basic experience the same regardless of version? Is there a "base" version I should start with, etc?
And after that, what would be a "must see" resource to start with learning my way around the software?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Picking up TS3D - Which version?
Try ts76.1B8 it was the last beta the company made with the old version in it. The one with std at the end is realtime render version only. The former is the old truespace 6.6 on one side or tab and the realtime on the other tab called workspace. It becomes what you prefer really. Best to get started in the one with the two sides, see which one you find easier.. Happy learning...

Cool! I'll check that one out.
Any good tutorials you can point to? I've checked those linked here in the forums, and it seems to be a lot of dead links.
Thanks again!

I didn't even know they had a Truespace course. This should be great. They have great stuff.
