My recent illustrations

Post by marcel »

100% modeled and rendered work with trueSpace. Old model side. The program works very well with w10 . Better than with w7 since the last update. I always use it for my professional work.
Hope you enjoy. :)

Most excellent!

100% TS? Not rendered in Bryce?

Mont is fascinating. I looks great as a whole picture but it draws me in to examine each section, building, room and imagining being in that part. The only improvement I can think of is related to that effect. There is some repetition of the parts or buildings. Since viewers may be drawn to exploring the details as I was you could make each part unique so each discovery is something new.

Steampunk has a great style. Both fashion and the overall look of it. Your work always has the consideration of both the whole picture and the interesting details. Displacement mapping would give Steampunk even more interesting textures. Not in TS though and Bryce's doesn't work well.

Ruche: when can I move in? This has the feel of a mysterious lost world like a jungle explorer would unexpectedly find. It also has the nostalgic oil lamp warm glow for the lights. I like the engineering of the structure. Especially the pegs and parts of the rails.

I have learned from you. The "whole picture and interesting details" factor of your work shows me that a picture should look good with plain textures. Its basic composition should be good and be interesting without details.
