A tiny utility to inspect the colors on screen. Press CTRL key to hold the color values, click "Refresh" button to resume the inspection. I made this to inspect colors of the tS' toolbar icons, but it can be useful for inspect other; the toolwindow will stay on top acting like tS's task. Note that the colors' values will not be sent to the material editor.

That feature is available as a custom shader : you can pick up any color from the screen and use it as shader color in the Material Editor. That's HexaPicker by Johny Tho.
I add this shader to download below. Just unzip the files into the right directory : tS/Shaders/Material It is nice to have it also as a standalone tsx though. Thank you Fenerit !

I'd seen that on awportal, but was already unavailable. Thanks to share it again.
Thanks also to Leroy and Cellulo for appreciating my fancy efforts in these matters.

Re: Plugin: tSxColourPicker
Very nice tool!...
I was wondering, now that I've seen this, is there a tool in TS that can select objects that have a color or material?
So say you have 40 spheres of 6 different colors and you want to select all of the blue ones with clicking on each one. You could go to some selection tool and say "select all of the ...." and pick the blue color. At this point all of the blue ones would be highlighted and could be modified as needed.
This would be great on a grouped object of 40 items that maybe you only what to change the color of 5 of them without having to move around in the heirarchy to highlight them and change.

You can do this using the Scene Material List tool (at the bottom of the Material editor toolbar).Rhino169 wrote: I was wondering, now that I've seen this, is there a tool in TS that can select objects that have a color or material?
In the Scene Material List panel, if you select a material, the tool shows in the right the list of the objects that share that material. You can then select the objects or the faces using one of the two icons above.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't holding Control key and clicking with eyedropper/inspect tool also do this?
