tnx for the comments guys, appreciate it... most of these had sparked tons of more ideas that I could do, but the time factor is the problem Most were done speed modeling style, least texturing effort and poly geometry, except the MAV-P1a... did several layers with bumpmaps to get that effect... one of my better moments in texturing which I still need a lot of training and practice in... the MAV series vehicles are all part of my HMN scifi short stories series I'm busy with, only done the first chapter so far with a series of images to illustrate the story, kind of like an illustrated comic/graphic novel... would like to get it going again...
the sand puppy is also one of my favorites and also inspired by the multi mode designs of the MAV... high speed vs rough terrain capable... with a twist in that it looks kind of like a puppy face
Will add more soon...

tnx Draise, glad you like it...
Haven't done much in 3d for the last few months but really want to get started again.
Got the latest version of Autodesk 123D which looks great, but need to learn how to use it, same with Google Sketchup for which I've seen some AWESOME things done on the net so it is pretty powerful...

Hey! looks like an interesting little program the 123d thing! I may give it a whirl. I haven't used sketchup that much. Do you use it often? Is that where you made all those craft?

Made all these designs in trueSpace a while ago. Haven't used Sketchup much but I'm following the user community and watching what they are doing over there which is pretty amazing... same with 123d, starting to play with it now...

Very intensely cool bro. I know one model maker who's salavating profusely at the sight of such cool models. My favorite are the combat units. I posted a link on another forum that features mod expansion for a video game called Battlezone II. I hope the models serve as an inspiration for new BZII model makers.
