OK.
What types of animations do you currently have (for example human walk, run, jump etc.)?

Mick,
I dont think there is enough space here to type all the various motions I have.
The majority of the ones I have are ones that I created for animations I have done in the past.
If you can tell me how many frames or length in time you need and what the motion is that you need I will be happy to quickly create it.
If its a basic walk cycle with a hip or arm or head variation you need I can create those in a 30 frame set and then you can simply repeat the action and change the position of the character.
What software package are you using to animate in?

I'm using trueSpace 7.6 and Cinema 4D.
At the moment I only need walk, jump and fall animations and 30 frames are perfect.
If you have o can produce any vehicle driving or riding animations it would be super. :)
Thanks a lot.

If you have a webcam , then you could probably use Vladimirs plugin package to control and create your own bvh custom moves , theres some example videos of how to use the package, http://www.siprogs.sk/p/iOptDetectorsPage" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .

With the bvh CGSpeed have a ready converted set https://sites.google.com/a/cgspeed.com/ ... on-capture" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or sets in other formats and flavors. They also have other tools on thier main page.

Hmm. Really interesting.
But can it do real mocap?
If so it would really be very useful.

here you find the conditions for usage:
https://sites.google.com/a/cgspeed.com/ ... ly-release" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

for your convenience here an excerpt:
USAGE RIGHTS:

CMU places no restrictions on the use of the original dataset, and I
(Bruce) place no additional restrictions on the use of this particular
BVH conversion. If you do use it for something, I'd be interested to
hear what you're using it for, so feel free to drop me an email.

Here's the relevant paragraph from mocap.cs.cmu.edu:

Use this data! This data is free for use in research and commercial
projects worldwide. If you publish results obtained using this data,
we would appreciate it if you would send the citation to your
published paper to jkh+mocap@cs.cmu.edu, and also would add this text
to your acknowledgments section: "The data used in this project was
obtained from mocap.cs.cmu.edu. The database was created with funding
from NSF EIA-0196217."
