Re: Apply Texture over Ts Hair.
that is easy, the problem is that you need to uv the hair as the animal mesh..
Tomas told me that is possible to do this by script, but my brain is not that smart..
Maybe someone like Proferssorchaos

Re: Apply Texture over Ts Hair.
I watched your video and have some questions.
What tool did you use to cut the shape? (I know that is not needed for hair but I'm curious)
What do you mean "Now add a hair cut over your shape"? It looks like you dragged a plane over the
cut out shape. I don't understand what you did to have hair appear over the entire shape at once.

Re: Apply Texture over Ts Hair.
Ok! the tool used to cut the shape was "Add Edges"
for the second question not sure if you remember one time i had a question about how to add hair allover a shape "example Grass" without start to paint all the mesh.. no one even the developers had a solution..
One day lurking on truespace i found one quick and amazing way..
Do this..
Create a sphere.... add hair on it.. now save as "HAIRCUT"
OK! so now, create a plane or any shape.. a terrain with hills for example... now drag your "haircut file" over the object you want.. and that's it!
Hair allover the surface!
Remember that will add hair over each face! so a plane with one face is recommended to get hair ONLY where you need it.. if you use a cube, you will have hair below the ground level increasing the number of stands of hair..
(How was my english) hahahahah

Re: Apply Texture over Ts Hair.
This Hair Texture technique will really be helpful and just shows how much
has not been discovered yet using trueSpace.
So right before you export the mesh node (drag the mesh link outside the LE) it would be wise to make a copy
of your mesh first if you plan on using the mesh later. (like the shape of a scalp for example)
