Day of Wrath [Animated] (~1998), trueSpace 3 fake AMD commercial

Post by Poikilos »

This commercial is an overly dramatic parody of the dramatic 1990's Intel commercials. The main spoof is the city made of circuits, showing I could do something similar to the Intel commercial using an AMD K6. The other animations are random, but go along with the theme of demonstrating what the computer could do. It also serves, in retrospect, to show the capabilities of trueSpace 3. The PGS logo stands for Power Graphics Station, my fictional company from when I was under 18.

Changelog

[unreleased] 2015-10-31
Changed
- Transfer from VHS using Panasonic Consumer DVD Recorder DMR-EZ485V
- Replace music with public-licensed music (The video also goes along with Dies irae, a Latin sequence attributed to either Thomas of Celano of the Franciscans (1200–c.1265) or to Latino Malabranca Orsini (d. 1294), not included. The additional detail in the EDM music seems to actually make the animation seem longer in a good way, and seems to fit better in some places).
- Add credits.
