I had a rough day today delivering for a client. I will do the poll tomorrow. Can't wait to see what WIP you have Rayman!

I wonder if its a good idea or not to make the U3DA Challenge last two months from now on. What do you think? Montly it makes sense, but it seems to be not enough time to get enough competitors.

Challenges aren't everything. People could do CG projects that aren't for challenges. Members used to do that. No deadline, work at your own pace, on your own theme, toward your own goals. Also, why does everyone abandon a challenge project when they can't meet the deadline? Why not finish it outside of challenges?

Great entries in this challenge. Looking forward to seeing Rayman's picture.

Probably because they have limited time and the challenge deadline is a nice way of putting a limit on yourself not getting carried away on a project that one may not have the time for otherwise...

I agree there. Self imposed deadlines does create some good productivity. Though.. I do try to share my work when I can here.

I'm gonna wait for any image from Rayman then do the poll. Maybe later today I'll model something up nice and quickly.

you are right... i used to do my own projects, but i dont have time for that or i dont have energy or something. So challanges motivate me. I do some small things than to start something big i cannot finish or will finish in years.

just render what you have in a quality you have... it doesnt have to be best in the world :) You can finish it to perfection later.
