Been working on procedural materials while learning Filterforge lately! Pretty complicated sometimes...but then I find a lot of things that I lost sooner or later..in my closet..so... Im sort of trained in digging up lost Spaghetti!
Tell me how you think they look...!

Yeah the problem isnt the material its the HDR setup!
Looks much nicer in Blender with less brightness! Plus I have to much dull on the specular...! This is rendered in Vue Standard renderer which isnt exactly the best option for car renders but then I like to learn to tune things I thought wouldnt be able at all!

i see the problem i material - car paint has depth because its multilayer. You have the color and you have clearcoat on top. This is just color metal.

No its not.. its even a spec map! The last version of Vue supports pbr workflow.. this is a 6 Year old version.. which doesnt.. but I dont need to pay for!
I have to set it up new! But thats the fun part of learning!

Ok! Down to learning and tweaking...I managed to duplicate the material for rusted Metal and chipped paint in Vue!
Symbiont is the same nodal procedure..and some new metalic paint! Have never seen metalic paint on Vue before..!
That makes it even more interesting !
