Multithreading and third party shaders.

Hello,

is there any workaround the fact that Truespace crashed when you use Multithreading for rendering some Third Party Shaders? (f.e. some Shader Labs, etc). except deactivating it?

Have you tried disabling the Workspace Bridge?

I think its just the ShaderLab itself... not external shaders in general. You cannot do antyhing else than you do.

A. Dont use Shaderlab but prerendered slots!
Its woth the extra mile since you can save out the slot even for Blender

B Also try new procedural ways like Filterforge and Substance....but not as a shader plugin.. rather as Standalone..again worth the extra mile!

is there anyway to prerender the precedurals from Shaderlab? (and most of the Time I use the reflectance Sahders only)

And thanks for the tipp, I'll have a look at substance.

Substance is costly though.. rather go for Filterforge!
Its worth it since it comes with acess to thousands of filters and how they pre made! Well worth it since you can use the lessons also for Blender nodes!
Yes you can...the answer is baking...! Look up how to bake textures with flat lights !
