i personally doubt that tS will write more than 2,3(ish) gigs to any memory. but i dont know. Where is Roman anyway, he was here some time ago.

That is possible too Bitkar. It could just crash or stop with some error. Asking for more RAM than exists is different than being unable to ask for RAM that does exist. Whether a program's own inability to store large addresses would activate VM is questionable. If the OS has a system to help 32 bit programs use more memory surely it would help them access the remaining RAM rather than going to slow VM with the HD.

Virtual memory has nothing to do with the ram!
When the limit of 2gig ram is completed it uses the HD!
If the HD is an SSD it must run faster then on a HD!
What limits the speed is the hardware bus controller!
If that is also fast enough you must have a speed increase! The thing is 2GIG of ram is not so little so you wont see the difference on small scenes! But the scene must be large enough to overflow the 2GIG amount it needs!
