Silo and ngons

Hi steinie or any on else who know how to remove
ngons in silo ,i have no clue . this is something i must learn
and fast.
because 3d coat, when it does auto retro it always adds ngons
dont know why but it does .
Thanks for some help here Ralph
or does modo or hexagon have such a tool for this

If you have 3DCoat why not manually retopologize the polygons that are N-Gons? There are some very nice tools for retopology in there.

Hi,

You might need to use in Silo menu 'selection' -> 'Select special geometry' -> 'opt'
this will open a dialog on the stack panel. Set the filter on it to choose faces with sides > 4. Just like on the attached image. Then you delete selected n-gons or trangulate them or whatever you like....

Thanks man, I found this on him in 3dcoat i think the whole mesh
is a mess

Just opened the frog in zbrush checked the whole mesh and he is all quads
but has a couple of poles.
he is to heavy for silo 2.03 million polys
