superb! I love this kind of textures. This reminds me of Myst. this model will become one of the most beautiful work done with Truespace. The wooden planks would be better if they were thicker to give the impression of solidity. may be that the top of the chimney should be blackened by smoke. I expect to see the texture on the pipes with impatience.

The boiler on the back of the turtle replaces the world as it is represented in some ancient civilizations (you must surely know what I mean). Maybe the pollution makes the turtle sick. Technology tries to repair it with wheels. but the whole remains fragile. This explanation may not be yours but that's what I feel, with a little humor.

This turtle is taking the beer on its back??

Terrific stuff MadMouse, your texture work has always amazed me. The one thing I would mention, is that with all that fantastic detail going on in the texture, it has changed my perception of the model's scale.

This wip is great. I am wainting for the colors of the turtle. Just a question: what is "tortoise and the H'Air"? My poor english can understand that.

Do they use it as a smokescreen from the soot made from its chimney?

There's a story called tortoise and the Hare, the hare got to cocky and just expected to beat the tortoise, he generallly messed about, took naps that kind of thing, , the tortoise just plodded along as they do and won the race.. Mad Mouse is making sure lol

Well I think this is a play on words. The H'Air (Hare) is really "Hot Air"
