superb! I love this kind of textures. This reminds me of Myst. this model will become one of the most beautiful work done with Truespace. The wooden planks would be better if they were thicker to give the impression of solidity. may be that the top of the chimney should be blackened by smoke. I expect to see the texture on the pipes with impatience. :)

The boiler on the back of the turtle replaces the world as it is represented in some ancient civilizations (you must surely know what I mean). Maybe the pollution makes the turtle sick. Technology tries to repair it with wheels. but the whole remains fragile. This explanation may not be yours but that's what I feel, with a little humor.

Terrific stuff MadMouse, your texture work has always amazed me. The one thing I would mention, is that with all that fantastic detail going on in the texture, it has changed my perception of the model's scale.

This wip is great. I am wainting for the colors of the turtle. Just a question: what is "tortoise and the H'Air"? My poor english can understand that.

Great work Mad, you've managed to get me out of Lurk mode
Is it a steampunk'd turtle?
Is it an early 1900s Delorean?
Is it a rolling fire extinguisher?
Do they use it as a smokescreen from the soot made from its chimney?
Or is it just carrying my drinks around for me?

You've once again picked up and made a great model and ran all the way with it for a fantastic model...Slow down a bit...we'll never catch up with you at this rate

Well I think this is a play on words. The H'Air (Hare) is really "Hot Air"

p.s. Weevil STOP Lurking we need your participation! ;)
