Hi guys,

Last year i need to model a reach stacker for customer..
Was indeed the beginning of my love for the LE to optimize my work..

Since the project had be made within 2 weeks i had no time on details instead functionality.. So now im remodeling the reach stacker in mid~high details..

Now im fighting with pistons.. :S

For that im experimenting with Look at.. in theory each part of the piston must look at the other.. let's see if it works ayayayayyy!! :lol:

Very nice,

do you have a tutorial on that one?

Two things I like to see are:
1. How to ge the Morph panel up like that (if you used morph)
2: How do you get the tires to roll when the thing moves.

I was going to try and get tires to move soon, There is a tutorial on how to make a propellar turn when the object moves in the manual, i was thinking of deconstructing that object pulling what I need and using it on tires. figured it would be the same concept.

No, Nothing from this project use Morph.. Just Matrix to move each part separated, then i made the panel to move the matrix with sliders.. quite simple if you see how it works..

I think i solved the riddle of the hydraulic.. :bananacheers:
Im using Dele's Super Look at script.. :worship:

btw, where's Dele?? :?

Ok finally I've got the hydraulics, piston or what ever you want to call it working! :)



Finally i decide to use just Look at instead Dele's script cos i found a good workaround..

I never thought about using hyraulics like that, I think you've just saved me a good degree of trouble Prodigy, it works great for me too

Wow! Very nice Prodigy!

How to you set up those joints? I've tried but couldn't get it right so all my machines are done with hierarchy glued models!

Thanks guys :)

I found a very small issue with the Hydraulics and if you use the way to one object look at the other and vice verse.. so i found a workaround to solve that and now i can say that Hydraulics are working GOOOD! :D

Im gonna release a small tutorial to teach how to create such pistons in a proper way.. 8-)
